Vohosoft ("we", "our", or "us") operates the BingoKart Business mobile application ("App") for restaurant and store partners on the BingoKart platform. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect from vendor partners, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: Your name, mobile number, and email address when you register or are onboarded as a vendor partner.
- Business information: Store name, description, address, operating hours, commission rate, and bank/UPI details provided for payout processing.
- Store location: Latitude and longitude coordinates you set for your store, used to display your restaurant on the customer map and for delivery radius calculations.
- Menu and product data: Product listings, categories, variants, prices, and images you upload to manage your menu.
- Order data: Details of orders placed at your restaurant, including items, amounts, and customer identifiers needed for fulfilment.
- Device information: Device type, OS version, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to deliver real-time order alerts and push notifications to your device.
- Usage data: App interactions and session data collected to improve app performance and support.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate your vendor account and provide access to the BingoKart Partner dashboard.
- To display your store, menu, and operating hours to customers on the BingoKart platform.
- To route and notify you of incoming orders in real time via push notifications and in-app alerts.
- To calculate and process vendor earnings and commission settlements.
- To show your store's location on the customer map using the coordinates you provide.
- To facilitate communication between you, customers, delivery riders, and our support team via in-app chat.
- To provide customer support, resolve disputes, and respond to your queries.
- To comply with applicable laws, tax regulations, and legal obligations.
3. Location Data
The App requests device location permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) solely to assist you in setting your store's GPS coordinates within the Edit Profile screen. Location is accessed only when you tap "Use Current Location" — it is not tracked in the background or shared with customers beyond what is shown on the store map.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as necessary:
- Customers: Your store name, address, menu, operating hours, ratings, and map pin are shown to customers browsing the platform.
- Delivery riders: Order pickup details including your store name and address are shared with assigned riders.
- Payment processors: Bank and UPI details are used exclusively for payout settlements, processed securely in accordance with applicable financial regulations.
- Firebase (Google): FCM tokens are used to send push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and Vohosoft.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account, business, and transaction data for the duration your partner account is active and for a minimum of 3 years thereafter as required for financial and legal compliance. You may request account deletion by contacting us; note that transaction records may be retained longer as required by law.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit, JWT-based authentication, BCrypt password hashing, and role-based access controls. Access to partner data is restricted to authenticated vendor accounts. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
- Access and update your business profile, bank details, and menu through the App at any time.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Withdraw location permission at any time via your device's app settings — this will not affect core order management functionality.
- Opt out of promotional communications while continuing to receive operational notifications.
8. Children's Privacy
The BingoKart Business App is intended for business owners and their authorised representatives who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notification delivery.
- Razorpay — payment and payout processing.
- Google Play Services — location services (used only for store pin setup).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
